Founded in 1873, The Harvard Crimson is the nation's oldest continuously published daily college newspaper and the only daily publication of Cambridge, Massachusetts. Our online website, thecrimson.com, is updated daily with all the same content of the daily newspaper, reaching over a dozen million members of the global Harvard community every year.
The annual Harvard Crimson Journalism Competition, sponsored by [ ], was created to recognize young writers and photographers around the country for excellence in journalism and promote storytelling, dialogue, and truth.
The winners in each of the categories (news writing, features, op/ed, sports, multimedia) will be selected by Harvard Crimson staff writers and prominent journalists, and they will also receive a tour of the Harvard Crimson building and its printing press. They will also have the opportunity to meet the Harvard Crimson Executive Board.
