The Harvard Crimson is the nation’s oldest continuously published daily college newspaper and the only daily publication of Cambridge, Massachusetts. We work with advertisers ranging from national companies to local businesses, from student recruiters to advertising agencies.

The media and advertising industry is a constantly changing landscape, and our business team is focused on innovative advertising solutions to stay ahead of the curve and deliver results to our clients.
The Harvard Crimson National Journalism Awards program was created this year to recognize superb journalism produced at the high school level.
Accepting entries from nearly all aspects of the field, our mission is simple—to reward those individuals and schools at the forefront of responsible and innovative journalism, and encourage them to tell their stories in the best way possible. All entries will receive thorough comments and critique, as well as access to grading based on an internally-developed rubric.

Awarded to the school newspaper piece that best promotes sports to the community through skillful review and understanding.
Best Arts Article
Awarded to the school newspaper piece that best promotes the arts to the community through skillful review and understanding.
Best Newspaper Photograph
Awarded to the school newspaper whose photograph employs a vibrant visual narrative through its medium in an effort that connects deeply with readers.
Best Editorial
Awarded to the school newspaper piece whose masterful use of language and connection to readers enables them to view an issue from a novel perspective.
Best Newspaper Design
Awarded to the school newspaper whose combination of artistic design, visual appeal, and page layout enhance and contribute to the experience of those reading the newspaper.
Best Overall Newspaper
Awarded to the school newspaper whose overall product best exemplifies excellence in writing, photography, and design.
Best News Article
Awarded to the article that best exemplifies journalistic integrity, quality and concision, and powerful composition.
The Newspaper Innovation Award
For the returning school who has applied the skills and lessons learned from previous years’ conferences into the design of their own newspaper and has worked tirelessly to ensure the highest quality of journalism in their school newspaper.
