The Harvard Crimson is excited to present the Harvard Pre-Collegiate Innovation Conference, a series of immersive and interactive workshops aimed to train and inspire the future leaders of entrepreneurship from all around the world. Students will prepare and present solutions to case study prompts to a panel of esteemed judges, while gaining invaluable business and teamwork experience.

Innovation Academy and Competition

The Harvard Crimson will host its third annual Pre-Collegiate Innovation Competition and Academy virtually July 30th - August 14th, 2020. This conference aims to provide ambitious high schoolers an opportunity to formulate and refine their ideas in response to real world-problems.
Students have the chance to compete in a business case-study tournament where they can test their ideas with experts in the field and learn from others in an interactive and open environment. Throughout the program, we also offer workshops that cover various topics, including entrepreneurship, essay writing, leadership skills, and more!

Innovation Workshops
Our Partners: AGSA, Crimson Education
The Harvard Crimson hosted its first Pre-Collegiate Innovation Conference in Melbourne, Australia from January 6th to January 8th 2020.
These workshops, held in conjunction with the Alliance of Girls' Schools Australasia (AGSA) and Crimson Education, aim to help ambitious high schoolers advance as leaders, entrepreneurs, and active citizens. Our workshops cover topics ranging from how to approach grey-area decisions, idea generation, and navigating the U.S. college application process.

Global Insight Academy
Cambridge, Massachusetts
The Harvard Crimson Global Insights Academy is a week-long program held at The Crimson in Cambridge, MA. The program aims to fine-tune the writing, leadership and communication skills of ambitious high school students and college students. This program will include: shadowing Crimson editors, the an introduction to the fundamentals of journalism, designing a newspaper, a seminar on careers in journalism, excursions into Boston, and a case study competition at the end of the week.
